During the discussion session, the UNLA delegation explored various aspects of curriculum development, including course composition, stages of study, and the dissertation process. Particular attention was given to preparation for scholarly publication as one of the graduation requirements. Publication was viewed as an important means of developing students’ ability to produce research that contributes academically and can be held accountable in scholarly forums.

The discussion also addressed strategies for developing a study program that highlights the distinctive academic vision of Untar’s Doctoral Program in Management. Such distinctiveness was considered essential for building a strong academic identity and differentiating the program from similar programs at other universities. This academic identity should be consistently reflected in the curriculum, faculty and student research, scholarly publications, and dissertation topics.

The benchmarking visit was conducted interactively through the exchange of information, experience, and best practices in graduate education management. Through this visit, UNLA is expected to gain valuable insights to support its preparations for establishing a Doctoral Program in Management.
