Jakarta, August 29, 2026 – The Postgraduate Program of Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) held a graduate preparation seminar entitled “Beyond the Degree: When Knowledge Is No Longer Enough” at the Auditorium on the 8th Floor of Building M, Campus 1, Universitas Tarumanagara. The seminar was part of the Graduation Confirmation Ceremony for the Doctoral Program in Management Science (DIM) and the Master of Management Program (MM) for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
The seminar featured Dr. Herman Cahyadi, S.E., M.Si., CHRP, Head of People and Culture at Gojek, as the guest speaker. Through the seminar theme, participants were encouraged to recognize that success after completing higher education is not determined solely by academic knowledge, but also by their readiness to navigate the dynamics of the professional world.
The session provided graduates with practical perspectives that complemented the academic experience gained throughout their studies. The seminar was expected to broaden their understanding of workplace demands, competency development, and the importance of continuous adaptation after completing formal education.
For the Untar Postgraduate Program, the graduate preparation seminar serves as one of the efforts to equip graduates not only with strong academic achievements, but also with the ability to apply their knowledge and competencies in broader professional contexts.
Through this activity, graduates are expected to be better prepared to face challenges after completing their studies and to create meaningful impact through relevant contributions to organizations and society.
The seminar concluded as part of the graduation confirmation ceremony, followed by the presentation of graduation reports and the recognition of outstanding graduates. (JAT)
