The Master of Management program at Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) held a Graduate Preparation Seminar with the theme “Psychology of Success: How Growth Mindset Can Boost Your Career” in Room R1401, 14th Floor, Main Building of Untar Campus 1 on Saturday (25/02/2024), as part of the MM Untar Graduation Ceremony for the Odd Semester of 2024/2025. The event featured Dr. Rostiana, M.Si., Psikolog, an expert in psychology, lecturer, researcher, and consultant, as the speaker, and was attended by students, faculty, and invited guests.
The event began with the Graduate Preparation Seminar led by Dr. Rostiana. In her presentation, Dr. Rostiana explained the importance of the growth mindset in building career success. She highlighted the differences between fixed mindset and growth mindset, and how an openness to learning can help individuals overcome challenges, adapt to changes, and continue to develop in the competitive workforce.
In today’s digital era, career success is not only determined by technical skills but also by the ability to face change with a positive and flexible attitude. Dr. Rostiana emphasized the importance of innovation, creativity, and mental resilience in achieving long-term professional goals. The participants were also encouraged to understand how to build personal branding, enhance digital skills, and manage stress and work pressure more effectively. The seminar was met with high enthusiasm from the participants, who actively discussed strategies for self-development and practical steps to achieve career success.
After the seminar, the event continued with the graduation ceremony. The Director of the Untar Postgraduate Program, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU., ASEAN Eng., in his speech, congratulated the students who had successfully completed their master’s studies at MM Untar. “I hope all the knowledge gained will enable us to offer our best in the professional world,” he said.

The MM Untar graduation ceremony was led by Dr. Keni, S.E., M.M., the Head of the Master of Management Program at Untar. Dr. Keni announced that in the Odd Semester of 2024/2025, the MM Untar has graduated 59 students, including international students from Singapore and Australia. The achievement of international students in completing their studies at MM Untar marks the increasing appeal of Untar to students from various countries and reflects the growing global recognition of the quality of education at Untar.
