Jakarta, December 10th, 2024 – The Master of Management (MM) program at Universitas Tarumanagara has once again achieved academic success with the successful thesis defenses of two international students from Singapore, Kartika Sari Njotowidjojo and Ferdian Budiarto, held today.
Kartika Sari Njotowidjojo presented her thesis titled “The Impact of Corporate Reputation and Perceived Price on Singaporeans’ Purchase Intention for Foreign Full-Service Airline Tickets: The Mediating Role of Attitude,” which examines how corporate reputation and perceived price influence Singaporean consumers’ purchase intentions for foreign airline tickets, with attitude serving as a mediating variable. Meanwhile, Ferdian Budiarto presented his thesis titled “The Impact of Subjective Norms, Perceived Control, and Quality on Purchase Intent to Buy Chinese EVs, Mediated by Attitude.” His research explores the factors of subjective norms, perceived control, and product quality in influencing purchase intentions for Chinese electric vehicles (EVs).
Both theses were supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Keni, S.E., M.M., a faculty member at Universitas Tarumanagara, who provided guidance and support throughout the research process.
The thesis defense was also attended by an examination panel consisting of Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Teoh Ai Ping (Universiti Sains Malaysia), Dr. Cokki, S.E., M.M. (Universitas Tarumanagara), and Agung Saryatmo, M.M., M.T., Ph.D. (Universitas Tarumanagara). The discussion was intensive and thorough, with both students successfully answering the examiners’ questions.
