The Master of Management Program at Universitas Tarumanagara (MM Untar) held another inspiring event through a webinar titled “Behind The Hire: How to Be the Top Talent.” The event was conducted online via Zoom on Tuesday (06/04/2025), from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (WIB), and was attended by students and members of the public eager to prepare themselves for the challenges of the job market.
The event was officially opened by Dr. Rostiana, M.Si., Psychologist, Lecturer at the MM Untar Program, who emphasized in her welcoming remarks the importance of talent readiness and strategic thinking in facing today’s dynamic professional landscape.
The webinar featured three young professional speakers who shared their experiences and strategies related to the recruitment process and career development: M. Nurul Rizki, Callista Vanessa, and Nita Susanti. The session was moderated by Ikha Amelya.
In his session, M. Nurul Rizki provided a structured overview of the recruitment process in the professional world, from identifying hiring needs, creating job postings, and conducting the selection process, to the interview and employee onboarding stages. His material offered participants a comprehensive understanding of recruitment dynamics and the importance of early preparedness.

Meanwhile, Nita Susanti highlighted the importance of self-development in becoming a top talent. She outlined seven essential steps, including understanding the company’s talent acquisition strategy, demonstrating excellent performance, building internal networks, and being ready for career mobility within the organization.

Callista Vanessa complemented the session by discussing the role of soft skills at work, especially how to collaborate effectively in a team. She emphasized the importance of clear communication, well-defined roles, building trust, and wisely resolving conflicts to ensure team success.
