The Master of Management (MM) Program at the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) has earned the highest accreditation rating from the Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Ekonomi, Manajemen, Bisnis, dan Akuntansi (Lamemba), officially receiving an “Excellent” Accreditation status. Established in 1993, the MM Program at Untar has produced many graduates who have gone on to become professionals and entrepreneurs. This accomplishment aligns with Untar’s core values: Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship (IPE). “MM Untar must continue to deliver beneficial innovations and contributions to society through high-quality higher education, always grounded in IPE values across all professional and entrepreneurial fields,” said Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU., A.E., Director of the Postgraduate Program.
As stated in Lamemba Decree No. 2537/DE/A.5/AR.10/VII/2025, this “Excellent” accreditation is valid for five years, from July 11, 2025, until 2030. This top-tier recognition affirms that the MM Program at Untar consistently provides high-quality education, producing globally competitive graduates equipped to meet future business challenges. “The ‘Excellent’ accreditation is a key milestone in our journey toward internationalization,” added Prof. Agustinus.
Dr. Keni, S.E., M.M., Head of the MM Program, emphasized that a master’s level education must enhance qualifications and competencies, open broader career opportunities, and provide deeper knowledge—enabling graduates to compete in the job market and contribute to the advancement of science and technology. “The ‘Excellent’ rating is a recognition of our commitment to maintaining academic quality standards and ensuring our curriculum aligns with industry needs, enabling MM graduates to be well-accepted in the professional world. This is further strengthened through international collaborations with foreign universities, which broaden students’ perspectives and knowledge during their studies,” said Dr. Keni.
Director Prof. Agustinus expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to everyone who contributed to this achievement. “This success is the result of the hard work of the entire academic community and our partners—lecturers, administrative staff, students, university and foundation leadership, alumni, employers, and both local and international collaborators. We are filled with pride and gratitude, and we thank all partners and the accreditation team who helped the MM Program achieve the ‘Excellent’ status. Congratulations and continued success,” concluded Prof. Agustinus.
