Working as the Head of People & Culture and Head of HR Operations at Gojek, Herman researched and discussed three main pillars of Gojek’s services: Mobility, Food & Shopping, and Logistics. The results showed that entrepreneurial orientation and employee personality traits significantly influence person-environment fit, which ultimately impacts work engagement. However, the study found that job satisfaction does not moderate the relationship between person-environment fit and work engagement.
In his speech after the Doctoral Promotion Examination, Herman Cahyadi, who became the 16th graduate of the Doctoral Program in Management Science at Untar’s Postgraduate Program, expressed his gratitude. “Becoming a doctor at Untar may not have been my initial goal, but success comes through effort and consistency”, he said. The findings of this dissertation provide valuable insights for Gojek to create a work environment that aligns better with employee characteristics, thereby enhancing their work engagement. This is expected to lead to an improvement in the quality of service experienced by Gojek’s customers.
