The Master of Management Program at Universitas Tarumanagara (MM Untar) held a workshop with the theme “The Use of PLS-SEM in Research and Interpretation” online via Zoom, with two sessions on Monday (20/05/2024 & 27/05/2024). The event was led by Dr. Keni, S.E., M.M., the Head of the MM Untar Program, and Nicholas Wilson, S.E., M.M., an alumnus of the MM Untar Program.
Dr. Keni and Nicholas Wilson provided in-depth insights into the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method in academic and business research. In this session, participants gained an understanding of the basic concepts of PLS-SEM, data processing techniques, and how to interpret the results of analysis more accurately. The material covered the application of this method in management research, marketing strategies, and consumer behavior analysis.

The workshop received high enthusiasm from students, academics, and researchers eager to enhance their understanding of quantitative data analysis. Active interaction through discussions and Q&A sessions further deepened participants’ understanding of the implementation of PLS-SEM in their research.
