The Master of Management Program at Universitas Tarumanagara (MM Untar) held a hybrid webinar titled “Tips and Tricks for Successful Study and Career,” both online via Zoom and offline at the Main Building of Campus 1, Universitas Tarumanagara, on Saturday (19/08/2023). This event was held in conjunction with the orientation for new students of MM Untar, Class 72. The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Toni Yoyo, S.TP., M.M., M.T., Chief Operating Officer of PT Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk.
The event was opened by the Rector of Universitas Tarumanagara and Director of the Postgraduate School, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU, ASEAN Eng. In his speech, the Rector welcomed the new students and congratulated them on becoming part of the Untar family. He also conveyed that this event is part of MM Untar’s efforts to provide the best learning experience to students. The Rector expressed his hope that students would successfully complete their studies on time while upholding the values of Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship (IPE). The Rector also welcomed the guest speaker and hoped that Dr. Toni Yoyo’s lecture would inspire the participants to discover and develop their potential.
During the session, Dr. Toni Yoyo encouraged students to manage their time effectively. He shared strategies for balancing academic obligations and personal life, emphasizing the importance of creating realistic schedules and prioritizing the most important tasks. Regarding career aspects, Dr. Toni also highlighted the value of networking and collaboration. He motivated the participants to build strong networks both inside and outside the academic environment and to share knowledge and experiences with others. Dr. Toni Yoyo also shared success stories of inspiring figures who leveraged their potential, as well as strategies for developing one’s potential, learning from failure, and continually striving for self-improvement.
The webinar session was followed by a Q&A session where participants could ask questions and engage in discussions with Dr. Toni Yoyo. Additionally, the event featured several interactive activities that further motivated and inspired the participants.
The Head of the MM Untar Program, Dr. Keni, with the New Students of Class 72
The event continued with the orientation for new students of Class 72 for the Odd Semester of 2023/2024. The session was led by Dr. Keni, S.E., M.M., the Head of the MM Untar Program. The orientation aimed to guide students to complete their studies efficiently and without obstacles. During this session, new students were able to ask questions about the information presented by the MM Untar Program.
The event concluded with a social gathering among the new students, faculty, and staff. It is hoped that this event would provide valuable experiences for the new students and boost their enthusiasm for learning at the MM Untar Program.
