The Master’s in Management Program at Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) held a Graduate Briefing Seminar with the theme “Self Development Program: Building Growth Mindset for Success” at the Main Building of Untar Campus 1 on Saturday (06/08/2022), as part of the MM Untar Graduation Ceremony for the Even Semester of 2021/2022. The event featured Dr. Alexander, S.E., M.M., President & CEO of PT Maybank Indonesia Finance, as the keynote speaker, and was attended by students, faculty members, and invited guests.
In his session, Dr. Alexander explained the importance of building a growth mindset in the workplace and business, and how a positive mental attitude can help individuals achieve success. Key points discussed included the differences between a growth mindset and a fixed mindset in facing challenges, strategies for developing an open mindset toward change and innovation, the importance of persistence and learning from failure, and how to apply a growth mindset in the workplace and business environment.
Participants showed great enthusiasm during the discussion and Q&A session, gaining valuable insights from Dr. Alexander’s experience in the financial industry. With this program, MM Untar hopes that graduates will enter the workforce with a mindset ready to grow and succeed.
